The grand finale of the four day awareness campaign held on the 1st day of November 2017 at the Government model college Badore, Ajah, Lagos Nigeria. Hundreds of in-school youths drawn from Badore Community Senior Secondary school and Government Model college Badore, Ajah were mentored, empowered and equipped with the right knowledge and dangers involved in migrating to Europe illegally.
A high-powered team of resource persons were on ground to carry out this up-heel task. Led by the initiator of the “Lost Dream Goes Nigeria” project Dr. Sylvie Nantcha who passionately took time to educate and re-orientate the youths on the dangers and risk of migrating to Europe through the Sahara desert or the sea.
Hon. Eddy Duru of Raduja International who has championed this noble cause for over two decades also took time to educate the youths on the subject-matter.
Representatives of Naptip were on ground to educate the youths on the implications of child trafficking and child labor. They also gave a toll Free mobile hotline phone number to the youths to report anyone who indulges in human trafficking and child labor.
